Nia Long was born in Brooklyn, New York, the USA on October 30, 1970. Long made her cinematic debut in Boyz n the Hood, a moving depiction of social difficulties in inner-city Los Angeles, and went on to star on Friday, starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker, as well as Love Jones, which received the prestigious Audience Award at Sundance. Soul Food, Alfie starring Jude Law, The Best Man, Are We There Yet?, Big Momma’s House 1 & 2 alongside Martin Lawrence, Stigmata, the Broken Hearts Club, and Made in America are among his other prominent film performances.
