He is also expected to amass another $17 million in bonuses before the year ends after emerging victorious in the recently concluded competition.

Lewis Hamilton remains to be the number one highest paid formula, one driver, after replacing Michael Schumacher at Mercedes in 2012 with $55 million in salary and $7 million in projected bonuses for 2021.

At 17-year-old, Verstappen entered the Australian Grand Prix in 2015 and has never looked back. By age 18, on his debut, he won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix for Red Bull, becoming the Dutch driver and the youngest-ever to achieve the feat of winning the competition.

With multiple endorsements to his name, Verstappen’s net worth stands at almost $60 million thanks to multiple endorsements. However, this could even shoot up, considering the substantial rise in pay in 2022.

His contract at Red Bull runs at least until the end of 2023 after signing a contract extension.
