Dawn Wells- Biography Dawn Wells was an American actress who worked in the entertainment industry from 1961 to 2019. She worked in the show business for over 55 years before passing away at the age of 82. Wells competed in many beauty pageants before pursuing a career in acting. She was Miss Nevada in 1960, and she competed in the Miss America pageant. Similarly, this actress was well-known for her portrayal of Mary Ann Summers in the 1964–1967 comedic TV series ‘Gilligan’s Island.
